Responsibilities:

         Elicit business requirements, develop technical specifications, build subsequent code and test code, ensuring the business requirements are met, and in alignment with architecture patterns and quality standards;

         Break down development problems and estimate effort/time for development tasks;

         Engage with all IT extended teams, such as Infrastructure, Office of Information Security, Enterprise Architecture, VDI, etc.;

         Manage and coordinate research and investigations into RPA O&M on-site issues or problems;

         Proactively address technical issues and risks that could impact project schedule and/or budget;

         Maintain a current and thorough understanding of Automation Anywhere products.

         Assesses process needs for RPA, delivering innovative automations, automation analysis, solution design, and automation development and deployment.

         Works closely with Business Analysts to understand defined processes to be automated.

         Designs RPA solutions in accordance with standard design principles and conventions.

         Configures new RPA processes and objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand.

         Creates and maintains technical documentation.

         Identifies and communicates technical infrastructure requirements.

         Supports existing processes and implements change requirements as part of a structured change control process.

         Problem-solves issues that arise in day to day running of RPA processes and provides timely responses and solutions as required.

         Works within project planning constraints, communicates any identified project risks and issues to the delivery/project manager accordingly and provides inputs to the change control process.

        Collaborates on creation of test procedures and scenarios for pre-UAT phases.

         Supports operational teams during UAT and rollout phases.

         Completes development, testing and leveraging of RPA processes, including periodic validations with process owners, and end-to-end business validation upon completion of development effort.

         Troubleshoots and corrects RPA-related technical issues

         Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Required skills/Level of Experience:

         6+ years of RPA software experience, specifically with Automation Anywhere

         2+ years of experience with AI/automation, analytics, business, technology or digital strategy projects

         Familiarity with cognitive, automation, and related emerging technologies and techniques.

         Two or more years of .NET or Java programming experience within an enterprise IT environment;

         Direct experience with RPA programming using Automation Anywhere version 10+ products.
