Job Title: Device Certification Lead Location: Bellevue, WA Onsite Job Description:- In order to launch new products, technologies, features, and services on our Network, TMobile is looking for a Certification Lead to join the Device Quality and Life Cycle Management team. Enterprise Core Competencies: Requires competency in customer focus, change & innovation, strategic thinking, relationship building & influencing, results focus and inspirational leadership. Essential Functions Vendor Management/ Interface: Manage OEM account including product life cycle as a product goes through various stages of certification. Work with OEM on prelaunch certification as well as post launch issues, log collection, analysis, and troubleshooting. Operational support: Support the Device Design, Network Design, Network Performance, Network Validation and Marketing teams for new feature/ product launches. Product Certification: Responsible for certification of devices (handsets/ tablets/ watches) including key areas like VoNR, 5G SA, Enriched Calling, RCS. Responsibility also includes understanding of User Experience, Network Equipment Inter-operability, RF Parametric and Field testing. Responsible for tracking of bugs/ issues and supporting analysis and troubleshooting. Process Management: Support documentation of process flows. Education: Minimum Required Bachelors Degree in a technical discipline (Electrical Engineering, Electronics & communications Minimum 3-5 years prior experience in Telecommunications. Qualifications Minimum Required Good problem-solving skills, Self-motivated and able to work well under pressure Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to build consensus across teams. Ability to work cross functionally to resolve issues. Good Technical Writing and presentation skills Previous experience working with telecommunications systems and technologies like 5G/ VONR. Prior experience with design/ validation of Smartphones/ IoT devices is highly preferred. Prior experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA is highly preferred
