Purpose of Role

The Director, Distribution, plays a pivotal role in ensuring the accurate and timely fulfillment of all sales orders by overseeing the Distribution House. With a focus on analytical problem-solving, this leader synthesizes complex information and collaborates with managers, supervisors, and team leaders to optimize operational efficiency. Furthermore, their effective interpersonal communication and strong leadership skills contribute to fostering a positive team dynamic, creating an environment that inspires trust and aligns with the organization's vision for success.
Your Impact

Provides direct supervision to Distribution House operation
Participates in the administrative supervision of the entire DH
Continuously learns, coaches, and deploys continuous improvement tools and techniques to the systems and processes of the DH
Works with the DH leadership to implement corporate strategy(s) and initiative(s) in a timely and efficient manner
Ensures the maintenance of a safe and clean work environment Ensures accurate and timely delivery of all orders
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with typically 12 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with typically 10 years of relevant experience or typically 16 years of relevant experience without degree.
Typically 6+ years of management experience; or equivalent experience as the subject matter lead or expert in area of expertise.
Related experience in a distribution or warehouse environment.
PC experience; MS Office(Word, Excel, Outlook, etc).
Ability to identify and resole problems promptly, utilizing analytical skills and developing alternative solutions.
Experience fostering a positive teamwork by balancing team and individual responsibilities, resolving conflicts, and maintaining open-mindedness to new ideas.

Base Compensation

156,563.00- 195,704.00
Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
