This position is a hybrid role, requiring you to be in the office 3 days a week at our beautiful office in Plano, Texas. Successful candidates will need to be already living in Dallas Metro and able to commute daily to Plano, TX. The office is located at 8400 Belleview Drive, Plano, TX 75024.

The Director of IT Infrastructure & Security (DIIS) is a critical member of the Chief Technology Officers (CTOs) team. This position is a senior leadership role and requires an individual with a strong technical background, as well as an ability to work with all stakeholders to align priorities and initiatives with key business objectives. The Director will provide strategic direction for the organizations technical infrastructure and security (including hardware, software, servers, databases, storage solutions, networks, audiovisual equipment, and physical facilities) in support of critical business operations. This person will be hands-on with the team and drive the execution of initiatives that ensure uptime and operations productivity. Demonstrated experience with the required qualifications of the position is necessary for hiring consideration. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides leadership, motivation, coaching, professional development, and day-to-day support to foster an engaged staff and work environment.
  • Oversee the selection, development, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and enhancement of the technology infrastructure.
  • Develops methods and processes to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and security of the network services, desktop support and user support functions.
  • Manages the development and delivery of IT standards, best practices, architecture, and systems to ensure information security across the enterprise.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the infrastructure team and IT Service Desk.
  • Develop, schedule, test and communicate the IT Disaster Recovery plan and Procedures.
  • Information Security - Monitoring - Perform IT risk assessments, audits, and security incident investigations.
  • Stays current in technology trends and proactively provides technology recommendations

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years as a technical manager of Infrastructure
  • 2-3 years managing a security operations center
  • Call center implementation experience
  • Multi-site multi-country enterprise network architecture experience including redundancy and failover.
  • Bilingual - English and Spanish.
  • Travel 20%

Additional Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical acumen including but not limited to: IT infrastructure, AWS cloud, application development languages, tools and frameworks, database technologies, web technologies, network architecture, enterprise architecture, and directory services.
  • Security technology acumen and experience including but not limited to: firewall, intrusion detection, cyber-attack tools and defenses, encryption, certificate authority, web filtering, anti-malware, anti-phishing, identity and access management, multi factor authentication.
  • Knowledge of effective access controls, authentication, password management, DNS, public key infrastructure, Windows servers, network mapping, and network protocols.
  • Facilities build out experience.
  • Bachelors degree in management information systems, computer science or closely related field plus 7 years of experience.
  • Ability to balance operational tasks with long-term strategic technology and security initiatives.
  • Understand technical constraints and can make effective decisions based on quality and speed.
  • Priority setting and effective communication to stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills and relationship building skills
