eCalm is looking for an energetic and empathetic Director of Business Development. The Director of Business Development will be responsible for the continued success of eCalm by developing a business development and lead generation pipeline, managing new and existing account relationships, and ensuring the continued growth and profitability of the firm. 

 



The hire will understand eCalm’s business inside and out to ensure proper communication around expectations, deliverables, and timelines with potential and current clients. Most importantly, the Director of Business Development will act as a client advocate, consistently being an outlet for the client to voice opinions so that eCalm’s team can execute for the client at the highest level.

 



What you’ll do:




  • Work across a range of clients and industries 

  • Manage relationships across 10-20 current clients 

  • Manage and responsibly grow a business development pipeline of 50+ clients

  • Develop relationships with third party contractors across strategy, design, engineering, and more

  • Create business develop and lead generation pipelines

  • Manage client expectations and solicit and act on client feedback to ensure delivery of the highest quality service

  • Build and nurture client relationships with project stakeholders

  • Participate in and occasionally lead weekly company-wide standup meetings

  • Report and strategize with the executive team on a weekly basis



Requirements




  • 2-4 years of professional experience, ideally in a business development or client facing role

  • Experience with business development and client management

  • Desire to work in a fast paced environment

  • Willingness to work on multiple projects simultaneously 

  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage evolving priorities 

  • Leadership and verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
