About the role

We are looking for a Sales Manager to lead, develop, coach and scale our fast growing SMB/ Mid-market Account Executive team. This person will be responsible for the productivity, retention, development and overall performance of the inside sales team. Ideal candidates will have prior B2B Inside Sales management experience preferably in a Fintech, SaaS, or Technology environment and/or proven experience being a team lead as an Account Executive.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of Account Executives focused on acquiring new client accounts in the SMB and Mid-market segments
  • Train, develop, coach, motivate and lead Account Executives to achieve and exceed sales goals
  • Develop and improve sales enablement tools and processes to drive revenue
  • Provide sales mentorship and foster a hunter mentality to consistently build a pipeline of larger, multi-threaded, opportunities.
  • Measure, forecast and deliver on KPIs
  • Support account executives through professional development plans
  • Provide clear and tactical feedback to account executives
  • Develop and maintain monthly team forecasts
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing and other internal teams

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5-7 years of experience in tech sales with prior management experience being a plus
  • Proven track record of success as an individual contributor and sales leader; player/coach mentality
  • Strong work ethic, motivation, and desire to continually learn and grow
  • Interest in growing as a people manager, with a keen ability to connect with new and existing team members
  • Willingness to jump into a rapidly scaling startup environment and build new teams, process and functions within the org
  • Experience building and driving effective pipeline generation strategies
  • Thrives in a competitive team environment and capable of leading & motivating the team
  • Outstanding communication, organizational and time management skills
  • Able to assess performance both qualitatively and analytically
  • Proficiency in excel, Gsuite, HubSpot and other related software
  • Very high attention to detail
