We are now hiring for DIVING INSTRUCTORS at our Outdoor Pools for the Summer 2024 Season(link removed) We will train you!

WHAT YOULL DO: As a diving instructor, you will supervise and instruct participants in proper diving techniques.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Teach participants appropriate skills outlined by the District's diving program.
• Supervise participants in assigned classes.
• Evaluate participant skill level and record appropriate level; communicate with participants and their parents on progress.
• Prepare and complete necessary paperwork for each session.
  
• Enforce Park District rules and safety practices.

WHAT YOULL BRING:

• Some high school education.
• Must be at least 15 years of age pursuant to Starfish Aquatics Program guidelines.
• 1 year of experience including working with children preferred.
• Diving experience required.
• Ability to spend up to 100% of work time engaging in physical movement in water.

WHEN YOULL WORK:

Actual schedule varies based on your availability! Swim lesson schedule:

• Monday-Friday Mornings from 8:30am - 11:30am
  
• Saturdays from 8:30am - 12:00pm
• Sundays from 8:00am-12:00pm
