Hours:

• 8 AM- 5 PM - Monday-Friday


• Work on site only.

Scope:

•  Encompasses the use of integrated systems for computer-aided design used for the systematic representation and dimensional specification of mechanical and architectural structures.


• Prepares drawings or schematics for mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems, equipment and structures.


• Utilizes CAD digitizing techniques and skills.


• Digitizes and edits integrated circuit drawings consisting of components and/or assemblies.


• Makes engineering computations and prepares and revises specifications


• (link removed) Modifies existing and creates new Bills of Materials for engineering packages and ordering.

Qualifications:

• Sound knowledge of job and a substantial acquaintance with the general aspects of the job.


• Intermediate level technical understanding.


• Implements standard procedures and proposes intermediate level modifications to improve workflow.


• Still generally obtains input to solve more complex problems.


• Works under general site supervision.


• Able to gather information independently using established and defined procedures.


• Able to train new employees to established procedures.


• Takes initiative in the area of continuous improvement.


• Uses some discretion.


• Contacts are typically within organization.


• May occasionally have contacts with others outside of the organization to seek clarity or ask for interpretation.

Ideal Candidate will have:

• Solidworks CAD Drafting skills,


• Microsoft Office (specifically Excel),


• Mechanical aptitude,


• Good communication skills,


• self-motivator.

• Education/ Experience: AAS Desired; Should have some type of CAD Drafting Degree, 3+ Years - in Drafting/CAD
