The world of esports/gaming is growing and so are we!

Calling all gaming, esports, and pop-culture enthusiasts. We are seeking a world-class Exhibitor Sales Manager with an extensive network and the ability to exhibit partners for DreamHack festivals across the US. You will be responsible for all Exhibitor sales around our US DreamHack festivals, the role will focus on securing local including regional and national touring exhibitors (10 x 10 & 10 x 20) footprints at our festivals. Additionally, you will be tasked with securing endemic brands in the gaming space.

This role is much more than just selling booths. The right candidate will work closely with partners to ensure a thoughtful and appropriate activation within DreamHack.


By working closely with ESL teams, you will ensure high-level fulfillment of booth space integration and execution, seeing your exhibitors come to life at DreamHack festivals!


What youll do:

  • Approach local exhibitors and sell them into the DreamHack North American portfolio package
  • Approach endemic gaming brands as well as small non-endemic brands - understand their key objectives and help activate them within the DreamHack festivals
  • Ideate on activation ideas, engagement opportunities, and creative ways for brands to participate
  • Plan and control proposal preparation, customer support, and customer consulting - this includes creating PowerPoint presentations
  • Upsell and pitch event sponsorships including, signage, onsite branding, and digital media that will enhance the exhibitor experience

  • Work closely with DreamHack Commercial VP to curate exhibitors
  • Work with DreamHack Product Team to understand event objectives and sell in exhibitors that embody those objectives
  • Manage, maintain, and develop strong relationships with key clients to deliver increased revenues.
  • Maintain existing US-Festival key exhibit relationships through regular communication
  • Manage an ongoing sales pipeline
  • Manage expo floorplans - design, layouts, assignment of booths
  • Manage expo customer communications
  • Take steps to ensure key exhibit retention, business growth, and profitability
  • Ability to upsell and pitch event sponsorships including, signage, onsite branding, and digital media that will enhance the exhibitor experience
  • Travel to competitive events for face-to-face prospecting and meetings

Breakdown of the role:

  • 60% Sales and outgoing prospecting
  • 20% Brainstorming, exploring, and pitching new marketing initiatives
  • 10% Creative planning and package development
  • 10% Internal and external stakeholder management

Requirements


  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in exhibition / convention / festival sales
  • Experience with/knowledge of expo floorplans - design, layouts, assignment of booths
  • Proficient in building and maintaining relationships with exhibit partners
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
  • A general understanding of the competitive esports and gaming industry and its events
  • A self starter with a can do attitude, and an entrepreneurial spirit
  • A strong work ethic with a high degree of determination and drive
  • A positive attitude and a team mentality
  • Travel is required
