**Onsite 5days/week. Must be in the office before 9 and can leave between 3-5, depending on arrival (8 hour days). Friday is always a half-day.

Client is looking for an experienced Dremio Administrator / SME to assist on a data migration project. Client is moving from Hadoop to S/3.
Technology Stack: Amazon S/3; Dremio; Kubernetes (K8)
Notes: Dremio is in place and they are using it for some applications. This resource needs to migrate the remaining apps to Dremio.
Description:

• 5+ years of system administration experience
• SQL - Excellent SQL skills required. SQL engine works with Dremio. Must know how to troubleshoot

problems in SQL.

• Query Tunning; Explanation of Plans
• CPU, Memory Understanding and Tunning
• Dremio, Presto, or Drill Administration
• Big Data Workload Management
• Building system automation and monitoring (will do manual first, then automate tasks).
• S3, Parquet, Partitioning
• Detail-oriented and thorough around Testing and Quality
• Impact Analysis - Ability to decompose a system into its parts and make changes without impact
