LIFE SAFETY ENTERPRISES INC Willoughby, Ohio 44094 Fire Drill Instructor Training Division Job Summary: Performs the job functions of inspections of clients facilities in accordance with local and national codes for fire and life safety. - Coordinate, organize, and provide required training to healthcare staff in a professional manner as developed by LSE.
- Ability to remain flexible when training issues arise and provide assistance in solving them in accordance with facility fire and life safety procedures.
- Manage the healthcare staff in a manner that ensures a suitable learning environment!
- Ensure that appropriate safety practices are used at all times
- Evaluate and document staffs competency attainment, drill outline progress, attendance, and overall training efforts based on learning experiences and workplace behaviors in accordance with the facility policy and/or procedures.
- Maintain required written and computerized records and respond to requests for information in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with other instructors, support services staff and management to ensure a cohesive learning environment dedicated to providing superior client services.
- Actively contribute to and participate in company-wide activities in support of regional accreditation and state and federal requirements.
- Provide daily reports with training drill results as requested.
- Flexible to work various geographic locations and times based on business needs.
- Must adhere to confidentiality requirements of LSE and its clients. Treat all patients, staff and visitors in any facility in a courteous, respectful and helpful manner. The health, safety and privacy of these individuals are to be of paramount importance.
- Conduct oneself with a high level of professionalism and attention to details, along with appearance and hygiene standards in accordance with the LSE Handbook
Drills are scheduled for all three shifts, and candidate must be able to accommodate all hours of drill schedule. Local travel between drills is mandatory, so candidate will need to be able to drive from one scheduled drill to the next.
