Driver helper:

• Loading and unloading company products.
• Assisting drivers to find delivery locations
• Compiling accurate delivery records and reports
• Effectively communicating with clients and customers to resolve complaints
• Liaising with the main office or the warehouse logistics team to notify the driver of any changes to daily routes.
• Assisting with unloading of the delivery vehicle at the end of each shift.
• Obtaining clients and customers signatures as acknowledgement of having received the delivered products
• Ensuring all safety policies and procedures are adhered to

Driver :

• Drive long distances to deliver goods to customers.
• Load and unload cargo.
• Record cargo deliveries.
• Refuel and clean vehicle.
• Report road incidents to the dispatcher.
• Follow traffic laws.
• Inspect trucks and record issues.
• Follow accident procedures.
• Keep an activities log and log hours.
• Report mechanical problems to maintenance personnel.
• Plan routes using GPS system.
• Get goods to the client on time.
• Maintain a positive attitude with customers.
• Keep commercial driver license up to date.

Requirements

Driver Requirements:

• Class A CDL or commercial driver license.
• Current TWIC card.
• Must pass drug and alcohol test.
• Must have clean driving record.
• Must provide current MVR.
• Must provide a medical certificate.

Driver helper requirements:

• Experience working in warehousing, manufacturing, or production.
• Customer service experience is required.
• The ability to work in a past paced environment
• The ability to work flexible hours.
• The ability to lift heavy objects
• Excellent communication skills
