Job Description

Individual contribution:

• Understand Daimler Trucks & Busses EE Network Architecture and network topologies
• Understand the requirements (feature changes) requested by feature/component owner
• Make deep analysis of impact of new requirements on existing EE networks and components
• Cross verify the requirements against AUTOSAR 4.4 and Daimler requirements
• If required, discuss the requirements independently with stake holders (Daimler internal, Suppliers)
• Should be able to develop completely new EE Architecture for vehicle lines
• Configure new signals/frames/networks/ECUs as per the request by feature/component owners
• Validate the configuration and perform quality checks
• Deliver ECU Extracts or DBC files
• Able to understand the structure of ECU Extract or DBC file and provide solutions to the issues arising with regard to static configuration of ECU Extract/DBC files
• Able to develop scripts using Python or any other scripting language

Team leader:

• Should be able to make independent estimation of the activities, assign the tasks and follow-up to the closure
• Should be able to guide and support the team as and when necessary
• Ability to make independent decisions
• Should be able to make independent discussions with stakeholders (Daimler internal, Suppliers)
• Support the department/team for value-add growth
• Drive new technology/process and Innovation in the team

• Candidate should possess the skill of team management and people connect
• Able to understand the bigger picture of the organization and align his/her activities with it
• Candidate should possess good communication skills, planning, risk management and co-ordination skills.
• Working experience on any of the features in Body control/Steering/Chassis/Power net/ADAS domains
• Able to understand the features in a vehicle and interrelation between the features
• Deep working experience on AUTOSAR 4.x (Classic) or Adaptive AUTOSAR Communication Stacks
• Working experience with Microcontroller/microprocessor, sensors, actuators, CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet, LIN, J1939, Security(SecOC), E2E profiles, Embedded software and others.
• Good understanding of Application SW Architecture using Autosar concepts
• Candidate should possess knowledge on working of Network Management and Diagnostics in the vehicle
• Candidates with fluent communication skill in foreign languages like German/Japanese will be preferred
• Working experience on functional safety aspect will be a value added skill
• Candidates with working experience in international locations is preferred
• Applicants with knowledge of using DaVinci configurator, Developer, PREEvision, Network Design tools, EB Tresos, ARTOP environment will be prioritized

Master or Engineer degree in any of the following specialization:

• Electronics and Communication Engineering
• Electrical and Electronics Engineering
