The internship is for a minimum of 3 months, and it is unpaid.

We have opportunities for an Editor, with a good sense of what makes an interesting angle to a story, to juggle all the moving parts of publications and more. You will plan, coordinate, review and edit content. Babylon has an opening for successful candidates who possess excellent communication and written skills in English, with familiarity in SEO and an eye for detail. The goal is to provide exceptional, informative and engaging timely content.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate online or print publishing cycle and manage content areas;
Set publication standards and establish goals and expectations.
Suggest stories and generate headline ideas in alignment with targeted audiences preferences.
Oversee layout (artwork, design, photography) and check content for accuracy and errors.
Proofread, edit and improve stories or pieces.
Cooperate and liaise with designers, photographers, advertising reps, writers, artists etc.
Comply with media law and ethical guidelines.
Requirements
Possess exemplary writing/editing/proofreading skills, having a portfolio is desirable.
Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously.
Attention to detail, self-motivated.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Creative problem-solving skills.
Comfortable working with multiple groups within the business.
