About the Unit/Department/Team Lakewood Health System is invested in community wellness, including the wellness of our partners at Trident in Motley. Join the LPNs and RNs in Employee and Occupational Health who function as a great team rooted in the EH/OH department, but embedded throughout the system and community! With regular touchpoints via team huddles and 1-on-1 meetings, youll maintain a strong connection to your LHS team while you serve on-site with the Trident team. At Trident, youll connect with the safety manager, HR and plant supervisors to support the health and wellness of Trident staff. Mission for Position The occupational health worker assigned to Trident in Motley provides quality, personalized prevention, screening and health support for Trident employees on all shifts, providing a convenient and efficient connection to Lakewoods healthcare. Duties & Responsibilities Provides education, support and motivation emphasizing health and safety Coordinates drug and alcohol testing for Trident employees Observe compliance with OSHA and work comp standards and requirements Perform and document health assessments Collaborate with employees and employer to develop and implement modified job tasks based on workability reports. Identify existing or potential environmental, health and safety hazards and inform appropriate individuals regarding adaptations or position interventions. Position Type ***$5,000 sign on bonus for full-time hires, pro-rated for part-time hires*** Additional compensation available based on experience or through shift differential Schedule must provide coverage during all three shifts across the week at Trident through two part time positions or one full time position with schedule variability.
