REQUIRED SKILLS:
Strong Development experience on BNY Mellon Eagle product suite including IWS ETL, Message Center, PACE ETL and Automation Center is required
Hand on experience with Oracle PL/SQL with understanding of Performance tuning using Partitions and EXPLAIN PLAN
Exposure to Linux and Shell/Python Script.
Exposure to Java/J2EE Applications using Angular JS, REACT and/or SPRING Web frameworks.
Working experience related to any THREE of Investment Management domains specified below
OTC, Cleared and/or Exchange Traded Derivatives, Corporate Action, Trade Processing, Portfolio Performance, Portfolio Accounting, Pricing and Reference Data management
Working experience related to patterns and anti-patterns related to web framework, data movement and file movement patterns
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Solid understanding of ITIL framework and technical controls and written and oral communications skills
Work well in a collaborative team environment across multiple locations
Proven capability of independent judgment and decision making where no clear precedents exist
Ability to follow Hybrid Project Management Methodologies using Waterfall and SCRUM across projects and programs
Eagle upgrade experience would be a big plus
Exposure to Snowflake, Data Stage, Sterling Integrator and Autosys would be a big plus
Provides senior level consulting services to business groups on process improvement projects designed to improve IT and business management results.
Develops and implements new processes, standards or operational plans that will have impact on the achievement of functional results.
Participates in defining and formulating senior leadership's IT strategy through the review of business objectives and value proposition.
Advises senior leadership on future business direction and aligns IT with business priorities, strategies, and operating models.
Recommends solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology.
Recommends long-term improvements and changes to organization's IT systems to support future business direction and growth.
Coaches, reviews and delegates work to lower level professionals.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
The right person will be highly technical, hands-on, analytical, and have experience in leading and providing solutions to technical teams composted of developers and testers. In addition, this person will have a record of supporting new initiatives, small to medium sized projects or enhancements across Fixed Income, Equities and Derivative asset classes.
Liaise closely with all Front & Back Office operations and technology application teams to provide Technical Design, Requirements and review Functional requirement focusing Eagle application by adhering SOP
Improve efficiency by reviewing patterns and identify opportunities for automation
Standardization of tools, processes, reporting across support to drive transparency, efficiency, and agility
Should be able to develop, review and also to manage a team of developers across US and Off-shore sites to provide technical oversight and lead them in a way that they will deliver quality results.
Act as a primary technical resource to launch NEW products in the market.
Educational Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Mathematical Finance, Accounting, Math or related technical area
