Teacher's aides have a key support role in the classroom. They work with the lead teacher to help children succeed in the daycare environment. We are looking for a patient, attentive teacher aides to care for children. The teacher aides will assist children with meals, maintaining their hygiene, monitoring them for health, behavioral, and emotional concerns, providing them with age-appropriate instruction, and working with parents to ensure that children are learning and socializing in a positive way. Teacher aides may also assist with sterilizing toys and play areas and other duties to ensure that the children are in a safe, engaging, and clean environment. Responsibilities:
To be successful a teacher aide, you should be decisive and patient
Be thorough and caring with an eye for detail
Be prepared to meet the physical demands of the position, the stamina to chase after, lift, or carry children as well
Have an understanding of the childhood development process
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and safety procedures
Ability to provide activities for children that encourage healthy growth
Child supervision skills
Ability to provide a supportive and caring environment for children
