Early intervention community-based program is designed to identify and evaluate delayed health development in infants and toddlers at an early stage in natural environments. The goal is to provide appropriate intervention at the maximum extent to improve child and family development.





Are you have a NYS certification in Students with Disabilities (Birth-Grade 2)? Do you specialize in ABA? If you answered yes to both questions you are a perfect fit for the job.

Responsibilities:


  • Provide early intervention ABA services to help an autistic child achieve their next goal

  • Provide services in a family centered manner in both home and community settings

  • Document progress and ensure documentation meets Department of Health and Mental Hygiene standards

  • Participate in multidisciplinary team communication and service plans.

  • Ensure that services delivered appropriately address the goals as stated in the IFSP (Individual Family Service Plan)


Requirements:


  • Master's Degree in Special Education

  • Must hold NYS certification in Students with Disabilities (Birth-Grade 2)

  • Experience working with infants and toddlers with developmental delays.

  • Experience with NYC DOH Early Intervention Program; knowledge of early childhood development and developmentally appropriate practice; DOH Early Intervention approval
