Job Description: Our Philosophy: Pineview Learning Center (PLC) is an evidence driven and child-centered program designed for Kindergarten through 6th grade learners with special education needs. As a special purpose private school,PLC offers day treatment services to students in a highly structured environment. Teachers, clinicians, occupational and speech therapists, and BHPs / Ed Techs offer an individualized approach to education that supports each learning style while fostering social-emotional and intellectual growth. Positive Behavior Interventions and Support are in place for each student to replace maladaptive behaviors that have prevented the student from successfully accessing their education.Position: Ed-Tech III / Behavioral Health ProfessionalJob Description: Assist students in achieving academic success by providing our students regular guidance, mentoring, and support in the classroom and in 1:1 situations.Participate as a member of our education and treatment teams which facilitate individual counseling as well as group counseling and assessments.Provide behavioral support based on each student's individual treatment plan which may include de-escalating tough situations and performing physical restraints to maintain student and staff safety (State approved training provided on site)Promote school pride by helping maintain a clean and welcoming facility.Make a difference in the life of children while growing as a person and a professional.Education Requirements: At least 90 college credits required for the Ed Tech III certification.Benefits: Start your career path in education, counseling or social work!The BEST training, supervision and mentoring (link removed)petitive pay (Up to $24/Hr)Earned time and sick time.Opportunities for growth within the company.
