The Social Clips Editor will create short form social media clips for a multitude of Jomboy Media original properties to market and promote shows, podcasts and video series with the goal of increasing social media following/engagement and viewership/subscribers (YouTube and podcasts).

Requirements

Essential Functions and Responsibilities Include:

• Receive raw audio and video files from other producers/editors to create unique, engaging, and captivating clips
• Create clips that amass views consistent with the social pages norm and based on YouTube video length
• On average, create at least ten (10) clips per work day
• Work closely with the editing team to stay ahead of schedule and implement all feedback and requests
• Create clips in accordance with company standards and editing guidelines
• Work out of our Manhattan office as often as possible, but flexible as nighttime and weekend work dictate
• Other duties as assigned

Key Qualifications:

• Eager to help grow with the company
• Robust knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud tools (Premiere & Photoshop specifically)
• Interest and understanding in YouTube/Social Media Platform algorithms
• Efficiency, speed and timeliness
• Proactive and self motivated
• Ability to take initiative and see areas of improvement
• Keen attention to detail
• Production and camera experience preferred
• Ability to collaborate with various departments
• Willingness to work nights and weekends
• Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines, to prioritize assignments and ensure accuracy
