We are is seeking an Education Development Assistant/Coordinator who will be responsible for assisting Senior Education Managers and field team in the creation, implementation, and ongoing support of all education programs. As leaders of Korean Skincare, we strive to educate the western retailer market on Korean skincare philosophies, innovations, and advancements. The Education department is a cross functional area that supports our rapidly expanding organization (currently distributing 9 brands) across multiple retail channels in a continually evolving retail landscape.
The Education Development Assistant/Coordinator will work closely with the Senior Manager to ensure the department is tracking all requests and meeting timelines for deliverables to the sales field and retail partners. This position also supports the field trainers in maintaining accountability of sales force, increase brand awareness, and new customer retention. They must also assist field to drive sales revenue and exceed sales goals through in store event animations, skincare/facial protocols, special events, and master classes. Operational responsibilities include overseeing gratis forecast, ordering, and delivery.
Responsibilities:
Create engaging, concise, and creative content to help Account Executives (AE) and Field Team improve service levels and drive sales in multi-branded retailers. Types of content include but not limited to:
– Learning activations
– Structured Brand Focus Day formats
– One pagers/fact sheets and brand manuals
– New product launch info
– Education videos for retailer channels
Oversee gratis (FOC) inventory, forecasting, ordering, and delivery while monitoring and assuring budget adherence
Manage administration of education materials to AE and field team through various digital platforms
Coordinate participation in retailer training, learning activations, and ongoing education programs
Plan, attend, participate in, and facilitate training sessions, department meetings and conference calls
Monitor field trainings to ensure successful execution and assess learning levels to inform future trainings
Plan education calendars and agendas
Support at events, trade shows, master classes, and in-store animations
Collaborate with internal and external partners to create education collateral, ensuring materials support brand, Global marketing, and education vision
Additional project participation as needed in a fast paced and rapidly expanding organization
Assist the Creative and Education Teams with ongoing strategies to continually innovate education offerings
Qualifications:
BA or higher degree required
Cosmetic industry experience preferred.
Sales experience preferred, but not required
Excel, PPT, Microsoft Office and WebEx proficient
Experience with Google applications required
Bilingual; Korean and English a plus (not required)
Video creation experience (script writing/editing) a plus but not required
Current cosmetology licenses a plus (not required)
Strong understanding of the needs of customer and market dynamics

Strong communication, interpersonal and networking skills with internal and external counterparts
Strong multitasking, organizational, project management, and presentation skills
Strong work ethic, able to work under pressure & tight schedules, be a team player, and able to quickly adapt to changes & environment as needed
