Job Title: Electrical Controls Test Engineer

Location: Raymond, Ohio (Onsite)

Job Description:

• Capable of the development and testing of Gateway ECU for CAN and Ethernet communication networks of modern automobiles.
• It Includes management of communication networks such as CAN, CANFD, and Ethernet, defining communication network architecture, and validating the network bandwidth.
• Gateway ECU development also includes the development of functionality related to Over-The-Air (OTA) Software Updates and Cybersecurity protection mechanisms.
• Familiar with flashing software to automotive ECUs using Over the Air and Wired Reprogramming.
• Requires a BS or MS in engineering. All the skills and abilities of Engineer L1. Additionally, must be proficient in technical writing and possess computer skills for scientific and technical applications.
• Must be able to proficiently handle multiple projects and develop analytical procedures. Work with suppliers to assure parts/services are requested appropriately, evaluate technical proposals, and write technical reports.
• Make technical decisions with moderate supervision.
• Ability to report research and test results in various technical formats. Able to work with a team or on an individual basis to reach project goals. Valid US drivers license required.
