Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer
Work Location: Alpharetta GA
Job Description:
Position's Contributions to Work Group:
- Support Production Engineering Team - To work closely with our Production-
Engineering staff to create Schematic, Panel, Door Penetration, Field Interconnect,
and Informational Drawings. These drawing sets are for different stages of the
project, ranging from Submittals to Asbuilts. Our Primary designing tool is Autocad
Electrical. Knowledge of MS Office products is a must.
Typical task breakdown:
- design schematic wiring drawings from a template or starting point working closely
with the Production Engineer.
- create door penetration drawings
- Support Production team with Wire Labels, Device Labels, BOM, Labels, and
Engravings.
- Insure that design modifications get documented correctly in the drawing package
and BOM's
- Help production Shop team when problems arise to find a solution or correct errors
with designs.
Education & Experience Required:
- Two Year AS degree (Eng. Field or technical preferred)
- 2-5 Years experience Working with Electrical Schematics /Mechanical drawings.
Technical Skills (Required)
- MS Office (Excel is a must).
- Ability to understand Electrical Schematics.
- Autocad Electrical or Eplan software Experience
