The Substation Electrical Designers will provide their support and technical expertise to solve complex problems within design of electrical Substations.



Duties and Responsibilities:

• provide guidance in identifying, analyzing and resolving technical problems.


• effectively organize, plan, schedule and monitor work activities.


• provide accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations, drawings and sketches.


• maintain accurate reports and files.

• Either a graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology (or equivalent), or 2 to 4 years of experience with an Associates Degree in Engineering Technology (or Equivalent), or 5 to 10 years of working experience within an Electrical Substation.


• Experience in Microstation and/or AutoCAD.


• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.


• Familiarity with NESC standards.


• Experience in Electrical/Power Utility industry.
