1. Position

Local Support Engineer (Technical Service)

Main contact point for customers’ quality and development and team in xEV components field

(mHEV DCDC, HV DCDC, Battery Management System, Power Line Communication Module)



2. Responsibilities

1) Main Res.

- Execute quality issue tracking and initial response to the customers

- Inspection and analysis on return units according to response manual

- Communicate with the quality and R&D team in HQ for quality issues and perform root cause co-analysis and

deliver 8D report to customers

- Attend regular quality meeting and follow up the quality activity including 4M changes



2) Others

- Coordinate with R&D team in HQ and customers for on-going program issues and progress



3. Position Requirements

- Language : Fluent English & Korean

- Education : Min. BS Degree

- Related Experience :

- Requirements: Over 5 years of experience of quality or development, or sales engineering in major OEMs

or Tier 1 power electronics companies

- Knowledge

Strong background for Power electronics or Electrical component

Understand e-powertrain system

Capability on bench level tests (Normal operation, isolation, CAN data gathering, etc.)

Communication skill with customers’ PJT members and managers and with HQ teams



- Requirement Skill : MS Office

- Location : Troy, MI

Routinely visit to customer in Great Detroit area (Troy, Auburn Hills, Pontiac, and Dearborn)

Visit to customer factory in Holland, MI once or twice per month



Not only Technical Service but also product promotion activity required.
