As an Electrical Engineer, youll be responsible for

designing, developing, and testing electrical hardware for best-in-class smart LED Lighting products.

What youll do


Design and maintain electronics hardware for new and existing Color Kinetics products, including digital control and power management circuits, to meet internal requirements and industry standards.

Develop and test prototypes in the lab, and refine your designs based on performance feedback and manufacturing considerations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including peers and product managers, to identify and solve electrical problems related to product development, testing, and manufacturing.

Participate in innovation activities, such as brainstorming sessions and design reviews, to help envision new solutions for our customers while protecting your intellectual property and creativity.

This position requires candidates to be in the office, with very flexible hours.


Your qualifications


Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics and 5+ years of experience in electronics development, preferably in a related industry

Proven expertise in electronics circuit design, including power converters, analog, digital functions, and EMC problem solving

Experience with schematic preparation (e.g., Altium Designer, Mentor Graphics, or similar)

Hands-on experience with electronic lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, and signal generators; experience in simulating and modeling electronic circuits using software tools such as LTSpice, PSpice, or similar

Passion for electronics design and a strong desire to stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in the smart lighting industry

Salary:
$116,100 - 160,000


Bonus:
target bonus opportunity - 10%
