JOB DESCRIPTION

Electrical Systems Engineer, Vehicle Development



The EE Architecture team with our autonomous client is responsible for the design, development, and production of
the vehicle's electrical distribution and topology. Our team has an action-based culture marked
by integrity, humility, competence, and a passion for the company mission and the systems we
design. We are building real products here and are looking for makers to join us.



Responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally with hardware engineering teams and suppliers to obtain
electrical development relevant data.
- Own and design vehicle wiring diagrams.
- Collaborate with design engineers to develop wiring harness drawings.
- Work with the different teams across the company to calculate the appropriate wire sizes
and select connectors.
- Automotive and Wire Harness troubleshooting experience.
- Lead and Maintain Capital Logic Libraries and Drawings updated.
- Organize Tickets via Jira to track engineering change requests.
- Evaluate Interface between HW components to guarantee the proper integration.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Science Engineering.
  • 3+ years working in automotive wire harness release, electrical centers and troubleshooting.
  • Experience using Capital Logic, Zuken E3, or VeSys to create vehicle electrical diagrams.
  • Experience using 3DX, Catia V5, or similar.
  • Ability to manage/escalate roadblocks to accomplish company milestones.
  • Work with technician and testing engineers to design test bots as needed.
  • Work with Firmware and Integration teams to develop the Vehicle Topology and Architecture.
  • (CAN bus, LIN, and Automotive network experience)
  • Experience to design proper inputs/outputs compatibility for electrical ECUs.
