JOB DESCRIPTION:- Position's Contributions to Work Group:- - Electronic design, analysis, and simulation projects
- Participating and/or leading Design Reviews
- Ensure adequate resolution on technical requirements and conformance
- Work with Validation Lead on test plans, execution, results documentation
- Proactively support root cause determination
- Technical engineering support for autonomous hardware components.
- Combination of technical, validation, and support activities
- Will include hands-on work
Work environment:- - Hybrid with 80% minimum time required onsite
- Combination of office and development lab
- Some minimal travel may be required to other CAT sites, validation labs
Technical Skills:- - Experience with design and/or analysis of embedded electronic or electrical hardware development or validation
- Knowledge of analog and digital electronic hardware design
- Electronic validation experience
- Advanced proficiency in circuit design, PCB layout, analysis, and simulation.
Desired:- - Experience with optics
- Environmental testing
- Electromagnetic/RF
- Autonomy
- Embedded software knowledge
- Ability to take on development and execution of component validation activities.
- Experience with optics, PCB layout, environmental testing, electromagnetic testing, schematic capture.
- Ability to write test plans and reports, technical presentations
Education & Experience Required:- - B.S. Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Computer Engineering strongly preferred. (comparable degrees will be considered if candidate work experience reflects strong electronic background)
- 5 years' experience
- Educational experience (Master's internships or projects) will be considered toward experience minimum if durations are listed on resume for each.
