Lyon Shipyard needs electricians!

Lyon shipyard has openings for 1st class electricians. Full time plenty of overtime great benefits.

If you have:

1. At least 7 years of shipboard experience

2. Have an understanding of installing andtroubleshooting controllers / control circuits

3. Have experience in wiring andtroubleshooting AC/Dc motors

4. Have experience with various forms ofswitchboards and control centers

5. Understand simple OMS LAW formulas

6. Be able to size wire / cable by ampacity needs

7. Be able to run cable according to Navseastandards

8. Understand the application of 009.73 of Navystandard items would be a plus

9. Understand watertight bulkhead protections

10. Be able to communicate and work with anyassigned Tech rep.

11. Be able to productively direct up to threehelpers if assigned

12. Work at least a 40 hour week
