Opportunity: Our client is looking for an Electromechanical Engineer who will be responsible for the design of flight critical wire harness and electromechanical interconnection systems.

Requirements

Core responsibilities

• Create electromechanical designs for integrating aircraft systems
• Develop solutions to maintain and safeguard integrated systems
• Choose and acquire materials, working with suppliers
• Manage engineering BOM through PLM solution
• Organize acceptance and qualification tests with testing engineers

Required

• B.S. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience with Catia, Pro/E, Solidworks (other CAD software)
• Hands on experience with prototyping and testing
• Understand and review technical schematics and engineering drawings/specifications

Ideal candidate

• M.S. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• 3+ years of experience working in the aerospace industry
• Knowledge of ERP, PLM, MRP solutions
• Experience with electrical 3D design, electrical 3D part design, manufacturing preparation, part design, assembly design, generative shape design
