This role will support engineering team in implementing and maintaining our clients Automation products. To develop innovative solutions based on end user and marketing needs. To verify and validate automation products by testing and troubleshooting of hardware and software components including supporting infrastructure. Qualifications University degree with a technical focus or 3-5 years experience in high-level technical support A basic understanding of electronics and/or hydraulic systems is a plus Training and experience in control system design and logic will be beneficial A customer-focused and quality mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills Team player that works well with others in a fast-paced innovative environment Outstanding time management to meet deadlines and performs well under pressure Takes initiative and can drive change Eager to learn with the technical aptitude to assimilate new learning quickly Basic understanding of mechatronics A basic understanding of SW programming such as Python, C, C++. Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Linux Experience with Communications Protocols (TCP, UDP, FTP, etc. ) Flexibility and willingness to travel when required (little to no travel) Behaviors: Demonstrate great interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills A decision maker who can work under minimum supervision A team player - open-minded and flexible Interested in Automation and technology development Ability to generate creative solutions to problems and work in a fast paced environment which requires multi-tasking capability
