Qwake is seeking an early career or mid career Embedded Software Engineer to work on our head mounted camera system, which is running embedded Linux. The successful candidate would be developing Embedded linux drivers as well as embedded applications.

Role Deliverables

• Design and deliver high-quality real-time C/C++ software on embedded Linux
• Design and deliver high-quality yet simple embedded linux drivers
• Work in a fast paced startup environment
• Code reviews
• Unit test on dev boards and actual hardware
• Partner with QA engineers to write and execute test plans
• Document

Requirements

• 1 to 7 years of experience in embedded systems and drivers running Linux
  • High quality university projects qualify as experience
• Proficiency in C, C++, & Linux shell scripting
• Strong debugging skills
• Nice to have: familiarity with QualComm architecture

• BSc, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent
