Do you ever find yourself having to choose between excelling behind a desk or working with your hands? If the answer is yes, then look no further because we are looking for someone who possesses both to join our team in our Skowhegan, Maine office. So, if you have impeccable customer service skills but also an eye for design and a creative flare, you might find yourself as our newest Embroidery Operator.

This team is small but mighty so they wear many hats, but here are some of things you can expect with some regularity:

  • Set up of machines including, but not limited to; retrieval of digitized files and loading to machines for embroidery and placing spools of required thread into machines
  • Operation of both heat press and embroidery machines
  • Hooping garments including, but not limited to; Shirts, jackets, pants, and caps
  • Bagging, tagging, and boxing completed garments for shipping
  • Clear and constant communication with customers regarding production, schedules, and any complications
  • Assist with projects and perform other administrative duties such as answering the phones, greeting customers, filing, and general inventory

Requirements:

The number one requirement for this position is a great attitude and strong desire to contribute (ok, thats two things), but beyond that, we are looking for the following:

  • A friendly and energetic personality that comes across over the phone and in written communication
  • A natural inclination towards putting customers first
  • Interest (and ability) in learning the different machinery and techniques we use to decorate our pieces
  • Embraces a can-do and team-first attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Cashier or retail experience
  • A love for crafts and apparel decoration
