Healthcare facility in southern Indiana looking for emergency medicine providers to provide coverage starting this summer!

Schedule:

• Shift types:  6a-3p, 8a-5p, 1p-10p, 4p-1a
• 15-28 shifts per month open across 3 facilities; 2 in Indiana and 1 in Kentucky
• Start June 2024 - June 2025
  
  
  
  • Credentialing timeframe: Estimated 50 days or 4-8 weeks
  
  

Assignment:

• Volume: 45,000 annual visits, 15-18 patients per day
• 100% inpatient
• Adults and peds
• Support staff: 24/7 mid-level coverage, Hospitalists admitting patients with specialists, 2-3 MDs working per day
• EMR: Epic
• Facility: 40 ER rooms, 298 hospital beds
• Procedures: Will need to be comfortable handling anything that comes in the ER

Requirements:

• Board certified in Family Medicine or ABEM
  
  
  
  • Will consider FM candidates with extensive ER experience at this location if they have ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS
  
  
• Active IN license
• Highly prefers clean background
