We are seeking a full-time or part-time Emergency Medicine Physician to join the dynamic team at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital - Fort Campbell, KY to provide a complete range of emergency medical and surgical services. This is a rewarding opportunity  to provide emergency care services to our active-duty, retired military, and their families.

• 10-hour and 12-hour shifts (must provide a minimum of 5 night shifts per month)

Duties/Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• Performs a full range of medical services within the scope of Emergency services or Urgent Care to all patients and eligible beneficiaries regardless of underlying disease process or physical condition of such patients or beneficiaries.


• See patients triaged as urgent/acute vice emergent in a timely manner and not less than three patients per hour during times when emergent workload is low.


• Have sufficient experience to be able to adequately diagnose and treat diseases/injuries; perform medical procedures/tasks to include, but not limited to the following: disease and/or injuries related to the Skin, Head, Eyes, Nose, Throat, Neck, Cardiovascular System, Gastrointestinal System, Lymphatic System, Musculoskeletal System, Genitourinary System, Reproductive System, Psychiatric Disease, central Nervous System, Endocrine System and Peripheral Nervous System.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Board Certified in one of the following: Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine or Family Practice


• Must have extensive current emergency medicine experience (have worked more than 20 hours per week for the past 12 months in a similar or higher level emergency care setting).


• A minimum of one year in the past three years as an active ER Physician.


• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
