Emergency Room Registered Nurse
Camp Hill, PA 17011
Duration: 13 week assignment (with possible extension)
Shift Information: 7am-7pm/3pm-3am; Every other weekend and holiday availability required.
Guaranteed: 36 hours
Rate: $65-67/hr. with benefits
Job Requirements:
Active RN License in the state of PA(link removed)>
Must have a current BLS/BCLS/CPR certification.
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Active ACLS Certification
Active PALS Certifiaction
Minimum 1 year experience in Emergency Room/Emergency Department.
Responsibilities:
- Being ready to respond and equipped to deal with a medical emergency.
- Quickly assessing patient needs.
- Treating critical injuries, allergic reactions, and trauma.
- Performing minor medical operations.
- Cleaning wounds.
- Drawing blood.
- Maintaining emergency room care standards.
- Assisting with insurance paperwork.
- Ensuring the efficiency of the patient check-in process.
- Displaying strong decision-making skills in emergency scenarios.
