Resource Innovations is seeking an Energy Efficiency Engineer to join our growing team in Louisville, Colorado.As an Energy Efficiency Engineer with Resource Innovations, you will support our work with Colorado energy efficiency programs.
As an Energy Efficiency Engineer with Resource Innovations, you will assist commercial and industrial utility customers implement energy-saving projects (e.g. upgrades to the facilitys lighting, HVAC, refrigeration, compressed air, process equipment systems) by providing end-use customer account management, project identification, evaluation, and management services for utilities. You will work directly with account managers and their commercial and industrial customers to promote energy efficiency, drive participation, and maximize achieved energy savings to achieve program goals. The energy manager team collaborates with the engineering and business management teams to deliver of a complete suite of program services to our clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide technical and administrative support to customers, and contractors
- Engage with commercial and industrial customers who seek energy improvements.
- Identify improvements to customers facilities and provide actionable recommendations.
- Listen to customers ideas and guide them toward cost-effective solutions to reducing their energy usage.
- Clearly document processes and strive toward continuous improvement.
- Travel to customer locations(up to 25% travel) and meet with customers both solo and as part of a team
- Earn and maintain client and customer trust to continually build relationships and implement energy savings recommendations
- Provide constructive feedback to team members and proactively solicit feedback from others
- Conduct measurement and verification (M&V) activities for installed energy efficiency measures
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in building systems, construction, engineering, or related technical discipline.
- 2+ years of work experience identifying, selling, or implementing energy efficiency improvements.
- Demonstrates the ability to calculate energy savings, return on investment, and payback for efficiency projects.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and analyze mechanical and electrical systems for commercial and industrial facilities including; HVAC, lighting, motors, compressed air, refrigeration.

The compensation range for this exempt position is $65,000 - 103,500 annually. The stated range is based on a good faith estimate of the compensation range for the duties, responsibilities and skills / experience required for the position. Starting pay will be dependent on experience and internal equity. This provided range may exceed this range for well-qualified candidates, especially with industry experience.
