Resource Innovations is seeking an Energy Efficiency Project Coordinator to join our growing team in Chicago/Hinsdale, IL. As a Project Coordinator with Resource Innovations, you will work in a dynamic environment supporting large scale commercial and industrial energy efficiency programs. You will serve as the face of the program, develop a strong relationship with customers and participating contractors, complete technical reviews of energy efficiency projects, and support the customer during the application process. Additionally, you will complete site inspections to verify the quality of projects submitted through the program. Successful candidates will enjoy working in a challenging and innovative environment, demonstrate interest in energy efficiency, and have the right mix of technical ability, program expertise, and interpersonal skills to educate and inspire energy-saving actions.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate on day-to-day basis with program subcontractors and Trade Allies to help support their participation in the incentive program offerings
• Establish and maintain a professional customer rapport, including identifying and anticipating customer needs and proposing solutions
• Understand the organization and decision-making process to work with stakeholders in determining project eligibility, schedule, and potential energy savings
• Provide technical and customer support to incentive program participants
• Promptly and accurately address customer concerns to assure problem resolution and promote long-term productive relationships
• Perform and review energy savings calculations for evaluation energy savings and environmental impact
• Efficiently manage multiple projects, provide timely updates, and ensure our sub-contracts are up to date with program information
• Conduct inspections to verify installation and operation of baseline and replacement energy efficient equipment
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• BA or BS degree is required, preferably in Engineering, Business Management, Construction Management, or a related field
• Previous experience in project coordination or energy efficiency industry experience in preferred
• An understanding of building energy systems preferred
• Demonstrated ability to successfully coordinate multiple projects and work with technical staff
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and analytical skills
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Must have IL drivers license and be able to travel locally up to approximately 25% of the time
