Marsh Speciality is seeking an Energy & Power Client Executive based in the London office to work on our Middle East and Africa (MEA) desk.


What can you expect?

This role is within our Energy and Power practice, a dynamic and fast paced area of the Marsh Specialty business.
The role will provide the successful candidate with stimulating opportunities to be involved in some of the largest accounts in the MEA region. The role will involve coordinating client renewals and placements, developing strategies to meet our client needs, building and developing strong relationships in region, and responsibilities for team initiatives and growth.
We are looking for an individual with an energy insurance background to lead client engagement, market initiative and drive growth in the region.

We will count on you to:

Analyse risks and provide solutions for clients needs.
Respond to client day to day queries and concerns, resolving issues promptly to develop strong client relationships.
Assemble and deliver renewal strategies for clients co-ordinating with the wider Energy and Power team.
Demonstrate awareness of market conditions to provide informed advice to clients including conducting market negotiations.
Driving team initiatives and business development in the MEA region including travel.
Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and insurance/reinsurance markets to efficiently communicate client demands and requests internally.
Reviewing and improving contract documents and overall terms and conditions continually.
Assessing and explaining to clients the terms and conditions of the insurance cover
Working on and delivering presentations and tender reports for clients and prospects.


What you need to have:

Energy Insurance background required.
Solid and proven experience of managing a portfolio of corporate client accounts.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong computer skills including demonstrable proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint essential.
Confident to work on own initiative as well as part of a dynamic, diverse and international fast-paced team.
