Job Title: Senior Electrical Hardware Engineer

The Business Entity:
We are developing the next generation networking line cards to make the network infrastructure flexible and agile for dynamic response to application needs and virtual machine workload mobility.

Team Description:
Join the team of highly skilled Engineers who create high end networking line cards for the Edge Router chassis.

The team designs, implements, and delivers Edge Router industry leading Networking Line Cards. You will be part of the dynamic and passionate team working on innovative projects with the state of the art ASIC devices.

We're looking for an experienced energetic and motivated Hardware Design Engineer who will be responsible for Edge Router line card architecture, implementation, development, debug and support of leading edge products


Role & Responsibilities:
In this highly visible role as a Hardware Design Engineer, you will:
Create Design spec based on Product Requirement
Implement the design using concept schematic capture
Work with CAD designer, Mechanical & thermal engineer to complete the layout
Create Unit test plan
Bring up/debug prototype boards
Complete all Hardware qualification testing


Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years of Design Experience
BSEE or MSEE
Strong digital design experience, using high-speed microprocessors and their supporting chipsets
Experience with high-speed (?=10G) system design Laboratory test, verification, and debug skills
Ability to perform board-level timing, power distribution techniques and signal integrity analysis
Good verbal and written skills (candidate will be expected to document design requirements, specifications, and various technical and product marketing collateral)

Desired Skills:
High Speed Signal Integrity Knowledge
PCB schematic capture & placement
Programming skills: scripting
Good knowledge of DDR3/4 & PCIe
Hands on experience with lab equipment such as real-time/sampling scopes, spectrum analyzer, and BERT, etc.
SerDes Knowledge
Experience on high-speed chip to chip, backplane or cable interfaces, such as SFP+/QSFP+ and 100G QSFP28 etc.

Will you require any OT funding added to the PO for the quarter? No
Can the worker(s) work remote? Or is this strictly an onsite position? Onsite

Do you have a BAN# approved - (if applicable to your BU) No
**Please note** All positions must be sourced w/in the XXX Rate Card scale. Should your budget exceed the rate card Maximum, a rate exception will be submitted to XXX Procurement & will potentially require your VP s approval. Please work with your MSP Representative for further discussions around the applicable Bill Rate for this posting.

Rate Card Policy:
XXX has a Rate Exception policy for bill rates that may exceed the Bill rate Maximum
Should this be the case, please work with your MSP Representative.
**Please note** Your MSP Representative will request a Bill Rate in accordance to the years & level of experience for the contractor that you need on assignment (Intermediate 3+Years, Junior 5+Years, Senior 7+ Years)

All Contingent workers must be a W2 employee of the qualified Supplying Agency
