A chemical engineer with 07 - 10 years site experience working in chemical, petrochemical or related process industries.
Experience in leading of Start-up and commissioning of ASUs (Air Separation Units) especially Large ASUs / HyCO is added advantage.

To support the lead for the day to day responsibility for pre-commissioning, commissioning and plant start-up through to performance test.
The candidate should have good command over site start up safety regulations, safety work permit management, Pre-startup safety reviews (PSSR), etc.
Added advantage in handling commissioning process facilitation, progress monitoring and reporting softwares like Go-Completions or similar softwares.
Start-up, commissioning or plant operating experience is of advantage.
Self-sufficient technical experience of cryogenic air separation / vacuum or pressure swing absorption, HyCO plant experience as added advantage. Further process / electrical / or instrumentation skills are preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to lead and influence team members in various cultural areas.
Passport, internationally mobile. Flexible attitude to travel, sometimes at short notice and be prepared for extended periods away from home. Good command of the English language (Written and spoken)
Graduate or Postgraduate from reputed universities in Chemical Engineering is preferred.
Responsible for Process line walk downs, raise punch list, check the system readiness for Pre-commissioning activities.
Responsible for preparation of pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures.
Responsible to supervise the pre-commissioning activities which will be conducted by contractors such as lube oil flushing, Line blowouts, cooling water flushing.
Required to work with inter departments such as Instrumentation, electrical, machinery and Process controls to enhance the pre-commissioning of other areas.
Required and responsible to take part in validation of the logics in the DCS and field testing as per given procedure.
Responsible to work in shift duties if required for the commissioning and plant start-up.
