JOB TITLE: Engineering Contractor 7 - Part Time (Aerospace Experience Required)

LOCATION: Savannah, GA

PAY RATE: $140.00 per hour.

Summary:

Responsible for the design, research and development of advanced new applications resulting in new product/business for the company.
Plans R&D programs and recommends technological application programs to meet corporate objectives (link removed)>
Proactively promotes process initiatives that improve the balance of technical product, cost and schedule (link removed)>
Applies cutting edge theories and technologies by exhibiting an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness (link removed)>
Champions and develops innovative principles and ideas (link removed)>
Often acts independently and exercises wide latitude in determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments (link removed)>
As a recognized expert in the field, provides consultative services to senior/executive leaders both within the company and the industry (link removed)>
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in engineering, a related curriculum required or equivalent combination of appropriate education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
15+ years progressively responsible engineering experience in specific tech discipline with Bachelors.
Experience credit considered for related advanced degrees limited to 2 years Masters, 4 years PhD in fields applicable to this job. Requires approval of Engineering PRB incl bus justification.
Advanced degree in engineering or related curriculum preferred
The level of technical skill and abilities appropriate for this grade will be established by each discipline
Powerplant EAR, GAC ODA unit member with EASA delegation required
