Hire Resolve's client is seeking a qualified Engineering Geologist to join their team.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing geological support and expertise for engineering projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful completion of projects. As an Engineering Geologist, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects in different industries, making this a dynamic and exciting career opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Conduct geological surveys and investigations to assess site conditions for engineering projects
• Evaluate geological factors that may impact engineering design and construction
• Provide recommendations for engineering designs to mitigate geological risks
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to develop effective solutions
• Analyze geological data and prepare technical reports
• Conduct fieldwork, including site visits and sample collection
• Monitor and assess the environmental impact of engineering projects
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering geology
• Strong knowledge of geological principles and concepts
• Proficiency in geologic mapping, rapport writing, and data analysis
• Experience with geotechnical investigations and hazard assessments
• Familiarity with GIS and geologic modeling software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
