Coordinate and inspect municipal construction projects and programs, ensuring compliance to policies, procedures, and construction standards. Perform advanced technical, paraprofessional office, and field engineering work, including complex and technical engineering work. Active contact with a diverse and comprehensive customer base, including the public, contractors, and other customers.
This position will focus on street rehabilitation and preservation projects, including both design and construction administration.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from high school or GED certification with completion of a two- (2-) year course in engineering technology, plus six (6) years experience in municipal engineering-related work; or any such combination of education, experience, and training as may be acceptable to the hiring. Must possess or be able to obtain prior to hire a valid drivers license.
