Duties & Responsibilities

• Mechanical test assembly and fabrication like plumbing, tube bending and flaring, metal and wood work, use of hand and power tools to create test setup.
• Instrumentation of test setups using pressure transducers, flow measurement devices, thermocouples, etc.
• Computer configuration of test data acquisition stations.
• Reducing test data using MS Excel or similar.
• Following blue prints, test procedures and written/verbal instruction.
• Monitoring tests. Maintaining log books and test documentation.
• Maintaining personal and common workspace in an organized manner.

Required Skills

• Must have experience working safely with high pressure (up to 3000psi), high flow (up to 700ppm air or 1000gpm fuel) pneumatic or hydraulic systems and equipment.
• Should be familiar with common temperature, flow and pressure measurement instrumentation.
• Should have an understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Should have experience working with NI or similar test software.
• Should have experience work in a hands on production or lab environment.

Education Required

• High School or equivalent
