Enterprise Application Consultant- IT Security Program Coordinator



Nashville, TN



Long-term contract with potential to convert after 1 year



 



Description of Duties:    



Design, implement and maintain Symantec EDR solution. Providing assistance to the individual(s) responsible for the network security function.



Configure and administer Symantec EDR policies for servers and end-user devices. Help troubleshoot all issues on malware infections / prevention. Prepare and provide regular reports out from the Symantec EDR. Develop and publish Information Security procedures, standards, guidelines and other documents based on knowledge of best practices and compliance requirements



Consult and advise on Symantec SEP policies to support Symantec EDR



Perform administrative tasks to configure, deploy and sustain Symantec EDR clients installed and operational. Train and/or mentor other team members, peers and clients as appropriate. Perform other duties to be determined



 



Experience Requirements:



                Mandatory:



•             Experience in managing Symantec Endpoint protection (SEP) manager  and its clients



•             Experience in Cybersecurity Incident Response



•             Experience working with vendors resolving zero-day threats and obtaining emergency signature updates



•             Experience in working with the TCP/IP protocol suite and basic knowledge of routing and switching



•             Experience in Microsoft Active Directory implementation, especially as related to security vulnerabilities and integration with Symantec products



Preferred:



•             Experience in managing Symantec Endpoint Detection Response (EDR) manager and its clients



•             Experience in working with Vulnerability management tools like Nessus Tenable.



•             Experience in working with malicious code analysis platform(s).



•             Experience with (IDS) Intrusion detection systems or (IPS) Intrusion prevention system.



•             Experience in Wireless - 802.11 b/g/n and enterprise management such as Aruba.



•             Experience in working on SIEM tools like Splunk or QRadar
