Enterprise Architect will be involved in programs with the following roles:
Enterprise architecture takes a strategic view of business activity systems supported and enabled by IT, and works to integrate business planning with IT planning. It addresses portfolio-level analysis, with a view to cross-organizational standardization, integration and optimization, and produces road maps for major changes and innovations
The Enterprise Architect role requires complex thinking and strategizing to ascertain which legacy systems can be updated, what software or hardware can be replaced, and which services or products will support business operations across each department. The Architect for cross-program, and cross-project Architecture strategies, opportunities, and problem resolution
The Architect for complex development projects and system integration, M&A and migration strategies
The consultant in business process analysis and design, and service delivery, particularly with respect to the use of information, trends and directions for technology
The Project Auditor to ensure conformance and compliance of projects and programs with Architect guidelines. Essentially the voice of the customer during development activities.
