Enterprise Architect



(Two Positions Available):



This requirement is in anticipation of, and contingent upon, an award for conducting Information Technology Support Services (ITSS) support for the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) of Program Executive Office, Missiles and Space (PEO M&S). The OCIO provides IT support to PEO Headquarters (HQ), 6 PM Offices, external Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine organizations, as well as, various foreign countries with cooperative agreements. Currently the OCIO supports approximately 2500 desktop users and 300 external users. Anticipated contract award date is 1 March 2021 with need for immediate presence to support transition activities.



Duties include:




  • Responsible for all aspects of the development and maintenance of assigned enterprise architecture project and takes project from planning through final delivery.

  • Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including end users, computer services, and client services.

  • Defines project scope and objectives and develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.

  • Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Leads a group of engineers, architects, and analysts and ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews enterprise architecture deliverables. 

  • Provides technical and analytical guidance to enterprise architecture team. Directs and participates in high-level enterprise architecture analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and development. 

  • Applies high-level business and technical principles and methods to very difficult technical problems to arrive at creative engineering solutions. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.

  • Assesses and manages Cloud Services management, migrations and expansions especially in the on-premises VMware vCloud Director Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). Manage the planning, design, and implementation of a Virtual Desktop Environment (VDE) and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).



Required:




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology

  • 10+ years’ experience

  • IAT Level II certification: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP

  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) or Cisco Certified Architect (CCAr) certification. Certifications may result in substitution for experience at a rate of two (2) years per level of certification, not to exceed four (4) years total substituted certification for experience. Cisco Certified Architect (CCAr) may result in substitution for the Master’s degree

  • Able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) prior to the start of work.


Desired:


  • ITIL Level 3 Certification

  • MA/MS Degree in Information Technology or a related field and/or 10+ years of relevant experience.

  • Access to Special Access Program (SAP) materials



Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. An active TS/SCI security clearance is required. This is a full-time position located in Huntsville, AL.
