DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Client is seeking an environmental data management specialist to support implementation and execution of an EQuIS environmental data management system. The selected candidate will support environmental surveillance sampling and effluent monitoring programs at the client Site. Support client staff with all Earthsoft EQuIS™ Enterprise and Professional Licensed Products including design, configuration, training, user acceptance testing, deployment, and sustainment. Additional support to the program will include records management, procedure development and quick reference guides for software use, coordination with sampling team for identification of sampling supplies, sample tracking including invoice reconciliation, and development of tracking tools.



 



 


QUALIFICATIONS

Required:







      • Bachelor’s Degree in environmental science, geology, chemistry, biology, engineering, or related field.

      • 5 or more years of experience working with relational databases and managing large data sets.

      • 3 or more years of experience with EQuIS software implementation and use in a consulting/industrial environment.

      • Strong data management and data manipulation abilities including experience with data management tools and platforms (i.e., Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL server, Oracle, Visual Studio).

      • Experience in environmental sampling, evaluating laboratory analytical data, and/or GIS a plus.

      • Experience with multiple phases of software implementation desired (i.e., design, configuration, training, user acceptance testing, deployment, sustainment).

      • Possess critical thinking and problem solving skills.

      • Academic knowledge and strong understanding of environmental sampling and laboratory analytical methods.

      • Strong relational skills within a team environment and with clients are essential.

      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.







 



 



Desired:








      • Experience with statistical methods and analysis.

      • Knowledge of state and federal regulations.
