An industry-leading Environmental consulting firm is looking for an Environmental Engineer to join their team.
Responsibilities - Collecting samples of soil, groundwater, and other environmental media in support of site investigation and remediation objectives.
- Installing monitoring wells, performing remediation monitoring, and overseeing contractors.
- Assisting in preparing various regulatory submittals, technical memorandums, and/or engineering design reports.
- Managing, analyzing, evaluating, and interpreting data for use in reports and other visualizations, including maps, charts, and 3D models.
- Travel to job sites is required to support ongoing and potential project work activities.

Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of field experience.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Geology, or Earth Sciences or a related field.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office 365 Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to assertively direct others in the field such as subcontracted drillers, excavation contractors, utility locators, and others to consistently complete tasks safely and efficiently.
- Ability to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical work hours.
- Ability to analyze data and applying problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and complete basic reporting and paperwork tasks.
- Knowledge of appropriate state regulations, including appropriate health and safety regulations required to perform typical field and office tasks.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform field work and a wide range of physical activities, including sustained walking, standing, and reaching, in an outdoor environment.
- Must be able to wear respiratory protection and pass baseline physical for job position.
- Valid drivers license and safe driving record.
- Ideally the candidate will also have:
- 40-Hour OSHA Health & Safety Training (HAZWOPER) (29 CFR 1910.120).
- Basic First Aid and Adult CPR training.
